Vada Pappu | Kosambari Prasadam

Checkout this refreshing salad which is offered to god as prasadham. It is very easy to prepare and is very nutritious.

  • 2 cups moong dal
  • 1 cup raw mango
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  1. Into a bowl, add 2 cups moong dal and water. Soak the moong dal for 1 hour.
  2. Into soaked moong dal, add 1 cup of raw mango finely chopped, 1/2 cup of coconut finely chopped, chopped ginger, chopped chillies and salt as required.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well.
  4. Now add 1 tbsp lemon juice and mix all these well.
  5. Enjoy this tasty and healthy prasadham.
