Located in Jayanagar 5th block, Bengaluru is this new restaurant called Sante Spa Cuisine. This restaurant offers Mediterranean, Italian and European cuisines.

This place sources fresh produce from local farmers around Bengaluru so the food here is very fresh, healthy and tasty. All the dishes are prepared in such a way that you don’t have to feel guilty after a good meal.
The ambience of this place is pleasant and this is a very good place for vegetarian food. They even provide Vegan, Jain and Gluten free options.

Dishes I tried : Crunchy Chlorophyll Dimsums on Red Curry
Home Made Nachos, Stir Fried Vegetables
Sourdough Ragi Panini Primavera
Organic Farm Fresh Vegetable Pizza

The average cost for two people: 1000 (approx.)

All these dishes were very yummy and this place is a must visit if you want a pleasant experience from the city’s hustle bustle.

Constructed by the CG Group, Shashwat Dham is a religious site and tourist destination situated on East West Highway in Devchuli, Nawalpur district. The temple is spread over 12 acres of land. This place comes on the way from Lumbini to Kathmandu.

The dham consists of a temple of lord Shiva known as Ekambareshwor and a Vedic gurukul. It also has Sri Sri Center for Yoga and Meditation. It is modeled in Khajurao-style of architecture. The temple is surrounded by pond filled with water of various holy shrines from the Indian subcontinent such as Badrinath, Kedarnath, Muktinath and Pashupatinath.

Tilaurakot: The ancient city of Kapilavastu

This place is the childhood home of Prince Siddhartha and has been identified as the gate where he left through, to begin his journey to enlightenment.

It was in the ancient city of Kapilavastu that Prince Siddhartha was raised from his birth and spent 29 years of his life at this place. This place was the capital of the ancient Sakya Kingdom.

The remains of the ancient capital are in modern-day Tilaurakot and much of them have been excavated and restored, while archaeological work is still taking place to uncover even more parts of the city and insights into the life of Siddhartha Gautama.

Tilaurakot is also an important site for Hinduism and you’ll notice a rustic modern Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Samai Mai within the ancient walls, where people regularly come to worship.

If you are interested in visiting Archaeological places then this place is a must visit.

Lumbini Monastic Site, a collection of temples and

Lumbini Monastic Site, a collection of temples and monasteries that is kept in order to shed light on the life of Gautama Buddha, to explain the significance of Buddhism and its spread and development, and to serve as a unifying force for the peaceful coexistence of many nations.

We started off from the Mahayana of the site. If you aren’t following check out Part - 1 and 2. Fourth stop, we visited Nepal Monastery and then finally visited the Singapore Monastery that follows Tibetan architecture. This was the end of Mahayana side of it.

Next we visited the Hinayana side. First stop we visited Thailand Monastery, then the Cambodia Monastery and lastly Myanmar Monastery. With this the whole exploration of the Lumbini Monastic site comes to an end. The architecture of each place was brilliant and something one shouldn’t ever miss.

There were many under construction Monasteries coming up. So the next time you go you will find more monasteries built by different country and architectures.

In this place the monasteries are divided into different countries based on the style and architecture so they don’t use the country names anywhere to let peace and unity remain in this place.

Note : I am using the country to show you what each monastery signifies based on the style it’s built.

Here there are no stores, hotels, or restaurants in the area, which is completely uncommercialized.

A water channel divides the monastic site into two parts. The monastic zone in the east is known as the Theravada Monastic Zone, and the monastic zone in the west is known as the Vajrayana and Mahayana Monastic Zone.

Once inside, one is exclusively exposed to Buddhism’s culture, customs, and history.
